If you are actually a libertarian, I would suggest that you follow the lead of Ron Paul. If you have any principle and honor. Then again, I don't see any evidence that you have any principles nor any honor.
But perhaps you can state your positons without taking words that have meaning and using them in ironic and sarcastic ways to make it clear you intend to be interpreted as insults using the meaning of radical right wing hate mongers.

Talk about pulling things out your ass. "Positions closer to Eisenhower and Nixon"? Simply stunning. Breathtakingly stupid too. You'd have gotten away with it had you said, closer to Carter Mondale. Let's remember what was in play in 52. Post WWII, emerging Cold War. Ike the WWII Allied Commander, and Nixon the champion of anti Communism, recall his role in the "evil McCarthy Hearings". Obama is nowhere close to these guys in identifying the current enemy. let alone have anyone like Nixon as his running mate. And the domestic policies have nothing to do with eachother. In 52 we were looking at a post war surge, in the economy, now we are looking at a economic down turn. Pick anywhere in the Eisenhower years, and the closest you will get, is the 58 recession, and that came because the economy was cranking too hard, to stave off inflation. But even this would be speculation.
God it is shameful in you revisionist history.
