Default Rasmussen Poll: Obama edges back in front

Several of you have been complaining that I haven't been posting enough polls as of late, therefore I thought I might take a small step to remedy the situation..Today's Rasmussen Poll has the race tied at 46% but when leaners are included Obama takes the lead 48%-47%.

McCain's bounce appears to be over as the race, at least in this poll, is back virtually to where it was before the convention bounces began.

Let's get you on the record. Specifically, which national poll is the most accurate? And which state by state polls are the most accurate? What is your gold standard for polling in this election?

None of these polls is a "gold standard" some have a better reputation than others but even that can change from election to election. I prefer the tracking polls as they are done on a three-day rolling average basis but it's best to go to a site like RCP which averages all the numbers out.

Two points are clear...first, the USA Today/Gallup poll giving McCain a 10% lead was an outlier. Of the other 7 major polls 6 have the race within 2% one way or the other. Second, McCain's bounce is over.

Like whatever one has Obama in front. You were a ghost when the polls weren't going your way.

Why should I post polls unfavorable to my candidate of choice? The right wingers in AWE are capable of posting polls favorable to McCain..at least I think most of them are. You never know about people that rely on characters such as Limbaugh, Hannity, and BillO for their news.
