In general I really can't take sides either way because there's just not enough info & it is tied with personal/ political issues.

In fairness this is a tough place for Palin to be in. In that sense I feel for her in this as well.

Now Patriot I don't like the fact the infants mom wants to put politics before her children. So I am certainly no fan.

But the title of this thread was a bit misleading. You can call the man her brother perhaps while he and Palins sister are still together.

Once they are not together , he is no longer her brother.

Your better than these right wing dirty politics tricks straight from the Bush play book .

Just my opinion Patriot but we have to do it better. We have to take the moral high ground and let the Bush and Now McCain Bots wallow in the mud and filth as they please.

Take the politics away from this matter. Before she was the Governor, this Wooten had affirmed he was a bad cop besides a lousy husband, who just happened to be Palin's then brother-in-law.

Palen's complaints regarding him were in 05 before she was Governor. And it seems no matter what she did with regards to Wooten, by the time she became Governor she's in a trick box.

If the Wootens' were living a happy marriage and this guy was abusing his power, and for the sake of the family (her sister) did nothing to get him off the force, then she would be accused of covering up for the sake of family harmony. This is a damned if you do, and damned if you don't for Palin.

The question you have to raise is who do you want to prevail in this equation. A Governor weighing in on the firing of a dirty Cop? Or having the Governor wink and nod his abuse of power?

Once again the libs have stepped in it. They make this issue into a family divorce vendetta, instead of looking at the principles. To reduce this firing to a personal vendetta, is to prop up a dirty cop, who just got steam rolled by an over reaching Governor.

The reality is, Wooten exhibited behavior of a cop similar to those we saw over and over during the Rodney King beatings. And a decade and a half of that visual should make any politician, any Chief of Police aware that this style of behavior can't be allowed on any force.

Then when you get into the 5 day suspension given by Col Grimes, the duplicitous complaints of Palin from Monegan, you begin to see "Blue wall"/good ole boys network. Palin seems to be above the good ole boys network and has proven she stands up to it.

This gets lost, because of an agenda the left has. They would rather victimize Wooten the bad cop, than to honor a champion of the people. So typical
