With a slight lead in the polls, it appears Obama thinks he can take some time off. Although Id say a good strategy for running a campaign is if youre ahead, run like youre 10 points behind, but what do I know about running a campagin.

No doubt McCain will use this opportunity to hammer away (although not nearly hard enough) at Obamas rhetoric.

anyone in HA who thinks obama has forgot his very early roots will now know he hasn't. might sway him some votes there.

As if there was ever the chance Obama could lose Hawaii. If that were the case, Id take my vacation in a swing state.

How pitiful it must feel to know that the only hope for the candidate that you support is to be realized by his "hammering away " at his opponent. You see...you have clearly confused economic policy with form of government. You need only look at China to see a capitalist economy run by a totalitarian government. Barack Obama does not seek a new form of government...he is quite happy to lead our democracy. The socialist label that you wish to pin on the guy is...if at all appropriate...simply a characterization of his more liberal....for the people...attitude regarding our economy.

Hammering away at his opponent... would that include making himself look like a complete and total dumb fuck with his "Inflating Our Nation's Tires Won't Fix Our Oil Woes"

WHEN.... It turns out he was completely FUCKING WRONG and the fact that if our nation's tires were properly inflated it would save more barrels of oil than drilling offshore could EVER PRODUCE and could start working TOMORROW IF ALL STATES MOTIVATED TO CREATE INFLATION LAWS...
