McCain buddy Joe Lieberman's approval rating tanking
According to a new Quinnipiac poll Joe Lieberman's approval rating in the state of Conn. is at it's lowest point in 14 years. The poll gives Lieberman a 45% approval rating, a statistical dead heat with his 43% disapproval rating. This is a decline from his 52%-35% rating this past March, before he really started taking on the role of a partisan attack dog for McCain.

"Sen. Lieberman's approval rating has dropped below 50 percent for the first time in 14 years of polling, with nearly two-thirds of Democrats giving him low marks, probably because he is campaigning for Sen. John McCain"
|
Apparently many Democrats and independents don't think too highly of Lieberman's traitorous ways.

Admittedly this thread doesn't descend to your level, that of quoting a common criminal as a source as you do here, so it might be hard for you to comprehend.

You're right asshole, a poll of democrats who are pissed at Lieberman for dumping the party and then supporting McCain is earthshaking news....
What a dumbass you are.

Frankly with approval ratings in the low teens nationwide for members of Congress, 45% looks like Lieberman the lib, "walks on water". Just a hunch but I'll bet he ranks higher than "Dingy Harry Reid".
Why does Lieberman bother you Upton? Just consider this. I think his stance on the War in Iraq, is why you speak of his "traitorous ways". But just last week the Congress signed off 160 Billion to continue the war. The brave libs who promised to get us/US out of the War in Iraq. Claims it's an illegal war, threaten to Impeach Bush, seems to support this "illegal war" by funding it.
So if it is an "illegal War", and supporting it as Lieberman has, then funding this illegal war should also be "traitorous" right? So why are you not concerned about this form of "traitorous" behavior?
I think the new mantra should be "Congress lied People died". There you have it.

Because Upton is a poster for the Obama campaign. No kidding, he comes on about 5-10 times a day and posts the latest out talking point put out of the Obama organization.
Lieberman has been talked about as being McCain's VP selection, hence the need to attack and tar him. That is all it is.

Though Lieberman is no longer a member of the Democratic party, he still caucuses with them plus, thanks to the Democratic Party's good graces, he remains Chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. He is a traitor to the Party.

Interesting may I assume, in the interest of consistency, that you apply the same metric to those that start anti Obama threads? I mean, considering the majority here are anti Obama posters, using your logic, the majority of such must be working for the McCain campaign.

Nah its all a matter of proportionality.
The others (for instance Wow, one of the big Anti-Obamanites) are here for far more than mere Obama bashing. Their anti Obama postings represent only a small fraction of their total postings. Whereas yours is a near total majority.
As for him being a "traitor to the party". First there is no such thing, only a truly and profoundly unAmerican partisan would put party before the individual.
Second, the democrats gave them that position because they wanted to use him. It was a simple trade. You want to write more into that contract, you need an additional consideration.

Maybe he should be arrested, deemed a political prisoner. Lieberman's individual ratings are still 33 points higher than Congresses overall ratings (12%). Maybe another reason to make him a political prisoner.
