Default You heard it here first. . . . .

Wes Clark will be your next Vice-President.

But if I was Obama, I'd see what Colin Powell is up to these days. Colin may be a Republican, but he ain't one of the filthy maggot-encrusted neocon-Republican pricks.

Oh. I thought you were going to announce that you were finally getting some counseling.

I agree "GeorgeO", it is an interesting thought: actually my nephew has been calling for this same thing now for some time.

Powell is certainly not part of the "maggot-encrusted-GWB crew", and he has enormous world-wide diplomatic & no-nonesense military experience. I would be pleased to see Powell on the ticket: I would have thought even more of Powell if he had spoken out before Iraq, but he did not & he is still a highly qualified & honorable man in my view.

In fact I believe this is an important enough decision for the American People that both candidates for president should introduce the major players of their entire administration well before election Tuesday in November; that way we would have a peek at what kind of judgement they had & we could make informed decisions about who we were hiring as president.

I also think that it is time that we accept that the VP can properly have a vital & critical role in Executive functions. (Cheney is a terrible example, but this administration was almost a co-presidency: and I think that the disgust that goes rightly with Cheney, is do to Cheney's evil & dishonest nature, not the concept of an assistant president.) ....pjwky

Quite possible. Good choice for Obama if he makes it, much better than Powell would be (though Powell would be a very good choice, though not a great one, for McCain).

Wes Clarke would not run with MCCain. He has came out and admitted Bush had the pentagon planning the invasion of Iraq from almost the first day he was president, since before 911 happened.

MCCain can't run with Clarke it would make MCCains support of the war hypocritical. The press would tear MCCain to pieces over Clarkes statements that this war was planned long before Bush got into office.

Obama could run with Clarke, but it doesn't matter who runs they can always just change the voting tallies on the new voting machines and pick who they want anyway.

The election is just a pony show, meant to fool the US people and the rest of the world into believing the US is still a democracy when in truth we are getting further away from democratic principles every day in this country.
