Default McCain leaves even Fox speechless

John McCain's speech last night was as analyst Jeffrey Toobin said, "pathetic", Check out the video below as the political pundits, in particular Fox, try to dissect exactly what is wrong with McCain's speaking style.

You must admit, McCain's speech was terrible. He makes Bob Dole look good. I swear he looks mummified and his speaking style is horrendous. What about that weird smile? You can talk about substance all you want but, unless he improves on what he showed last night, this is going to be a real problem for him.

Lets get a few things straight about Jeffery Toobin......1st he is a moron elitist....who gets his ass handed to him quite regularly.

2nd....Toobin has had Obama's balls in his mouth for the last 6 months.....he has never criticized Saint Obama....and has never said anything good about McCain.....Toobin was going to criticize McCain's speech before McCain even gave it.

.........actually the same goes for the majority working at CNN....who have been promoting Obama for some time now.....liberal "journalism" and "reporting" at its finest

Are you suggesting McCain looked and sounded good last night?

Did you watch that video? Even the folks at Fox had something to say about how terrible McCain's speech was. I notice, while you rant about Toobin, you have nothing to say about Fox at all.

That may be true but it doesn't change the fact that McCains speech was pathetic...he seemed "flat" and that smile...it just seemed like he was so proud everytime he said anything at all that got any response.

I'm hoping to see more from McCain and quite honestly, I think he is making a big mistake wanting to get on stage with Obama...we shall see.

I was talking to someone on another forum, a female, and she was of the opinion that the reason McCain looks sort of mummified and that smile is so creepy is the result of a face lift or lifts. When you watch the video check out how loose his neck skin is compared to his facial skin.

I knew Obamorons were shallow but I had no idea this would turn into a beauty contest. What a bunch of knob gobblers lining up to take his load in the face...

Obama vs Lincoln Who wins?

Anyone with an ounce of sense votes Lincoln, while Obamorons counter by calling him an ugly bastard...

I don't doubt that for a minute...the poor guy has no doubt gone through hell...however, and I was thinking about this contrast earlier today and considered starting a thread but got busy with other things...his smile reminds me of Dubya's smirk...as the little lady tells me...he sounds like Bush too.

The idea of the townhall debates that McCain wants to have is going to be a detriment to him, I believe, and here's why...

First off, to Obama's discredit, he is not as fast on his feet as he could be but when he does know where he's heading with a talking point he is smooth...McCain, on the other hand cannot even read a teleprompter without stumbling...placing them side by side is going to excentuate these differences...granted, being President is not all about public speaking but I think it is an asset.

Another thing that I think is going to work in Obama's favor is that McCain does try and do the same thing that many on here do...that is, misrepresent what Obama has to say...it's one thing to have a soundbite/advertising exchange...I just think Obama will clarify his position in a face to face exchange...if he can't do that then he doesn't deserve to be Prez.

I think Obama has also bent the truth about some of the things McCain has had to say so turnabout is fair play.

I'm just glad we finally got beyond the Clintonian bullshit and now we can get down to the real race.
