I'm sure that is true, but how many people want to buy it after just looking? I blame the people not the candidates. A candidate needs mass appeal and that 'waters' down the product. Sad but true.

These days, the only people worthy of being President would never run.

There is no cult of personality surrounding Nader. He'd first have to have a personality.

Too funny...
Not familiar with the Green Party? He certainly has a cult like following within the Green party....

Yup, and the lunatic McCain has more depth than the other two combined. Ever see the Caine Mutiny? Maybe we'll end up with the (Mc)Cain Mutiny, and we'll have him sitting in the oval office maniacally rolling steel balls in his hand. Jeepers I can't wait!!!!!

Yep. But that didn't/doesn't faze the personality cult types....
Nader's baffling 2004 performance really sent the Greens on a spin.....
It is, apparently, still fragmenting the Green Party.
(I try and keep tabs on several Third Parties: Greens, Libertarians, and Socialists)

McCain has been one of my state's senators for a long, long time. Somehow we've survived, although the official language of Tucson is now Espanol.
