Remember when aggressions were taken out in note passing or bathroom stalls? I'm glad we're open with our daughters, but really, how do you protect them from that? Is it Myspace, emails? What?

Again this is something that can be handled easily by parent involvement. You give your children good common sense by pointing out articles like this in a way that doesn't threaten her so she rebels and it will stick. No worries.

By the way, you may want to put in a keylogger. Good common sense tells you that you will never ever say it is there or produce information that would make her wonder if you were logging her online conversations. You want this as an insurance program because kids will do stupid things and you are responsible for protecting them...

Be sure to point out to your daughter that future employers look on myspace and google potential employees. The girls with naked or drunk pictures will probably not get thoes jobs...

How old is your granddaughter? And do you have any concerns about myspace or social networking sites?

She is 12 and I don't know much about myspace. But when she is on internet her father is there watching, plus he has set up stuff to view where she has gone and what she has said. Yes he says it is an invasion of her privacy, but he is more concerned in protecting her.
