The interesting thing in history has been the rejection of keeping the religious language separate and foriegn to the people. The Torah wasn't in a spoken language. For the language to be understood by worshipers allows them to interpret the text contrary to the authorities. The Torah isn't in Hebrew, but in לשון הקודש a language that wasn't and isn't spoken by the people.

The problems with allowing and one to thing they understand scripture should be obvious, With the Bible in English, and the Bible being used to teach people to read and write English, the Bible gets misinterpreted which causes all sorts of conflict in society. With the Koran being used to unite all followers in a common language, all sorts of misinterpretations cause religion to be used as a political tool. And with Israel inventing Hebrew based on the Torah, that is now the basis for all sorts of political conflict justified by religion.

For the word of God to be the authority, the word must be restricted to the political authorities so they can maintain their authority. It is knowing the word that grants the divine right of kings.

Conservatives know that controlling the word and the interpretation of it is critical. But this isn't limited to the realm of the supernatural -- those things that aren't concretely defined by nature. Conservatives have defined politics in a couple of economic faith systems, and it is only by retaining a firm hold on those faith systems and the language, can conservatives use it to control society.

And the definition of society is done in a language that is defined by the authorities, or would be authorities, in a special language, in order to exert authority.

And this is a case in point. The conservative define events to prove the liberals are evil and must be quashed or else they will destroy society. Liberalism is what has destroyed the idyllic conservative society of the past, that past with the white folk on the veranda being served tea by the Negroes while the darkies joyfully sang as they worked in the cotton fields. In the present, liberals caused all sorts of evil to flood society, sex out of marriage, illegitimate children, gays taking over the word gay, the ACLU killing off religious faith, liberals telling people what to think and what to believe.

And that is the coding for this story.

It is the liberals and ACLU that is replacing Christianity with Islam, because the liberals are in control. And that will mean sharia law with the gays taking over and producing millions of illegitimate children.

But as I noted, this story talks about events in Texas, a conservative region politically and religiously, or it has been, a place where no one is a member of the ACLU and where no gun control atheist liberals hold positions of power. But the word give the conservatives the authority to define these events in their language and translate the meaning as a means of retaining power. Or at least trying to retain power.

Don't be fooled into thinking the political language is in the English language of the people. Conservatives point to their authorities, the Bible and FOX news, but when their chosen enemy usurps the use of their authorities, the use that as a opportunity to attack. For example, Rev Wright quoted something he heard on FOX news (the chickens come home to roost) and the Bible, and that violated the central principle of restricting the interpretation of the word of their authority to only conservatives.

So, what conservatives have implemented in the school system must only be interpreted, given meaning, but the conservatives: To give people information is to indoctrinate them. Sometimes its necessary for conservatives to give information to a subjugated group so that the information can be properly interpreted by the conservatives to prove liberals are evil, that liberals are going to take the children of conservatives away from them.

I imagine the conservatives who read this are going to angry because I'm a liberal using the conservative political method of interpreting the word and events, and that is heresy.

I've always wondered what's the difference between blindly believeing an unprovable religion and blindly hating it. It's perfectly acceptable to believe what you want...so long as you don't believe you hate it. Both faith and hate are based on assumptions, presumptions, and vague unprovable assertions...so why is one ok and not the other?

History shows that they BOTH can lead to amazing massacres that translate beautifully to the cinema, and they BOTH can be represented by all kinds of humans, from talented geniuses to inbred trailer trash.

So, why is it ok to BE Islamic or Christian or Wiccan (giggle), or Buddhist...but if you hate them there's something wrong? If you hate something, the Libs want to "intervene", especially if you learned to hate something because of your parents. Then you're damned-near considered to be a victim of domestic violence. But if your parents teach you to pray five times a day, you're to be respected and allowed to pursue your beliefs.

If a kid prayed five times a day for world peace, he'd be allowed to do so as long as he didn't interfere with anyone else's class time. If a kid prayed five times a day for Armageddon, he'd be in mandatory counseling and social services would be summoned like a lightning bolt to strike the parents' personal lives.

Wonder why that is.

Not that I encourage hate...any blind emotion that's allowed to fester without intelligent thought behind it can be disrupting to people's lives. Love. Hate. Greed. Envy. They're all healthy in small, limited bursts, but if you center your life around any of them blindly you're a fool, whether it's blind love, blind hatred, blind faith...all of 'em are stupid. But NONE of them are anyone else's business, so long as you don't infringe on anyone else's blind insanity of choice. Who cares if some kids hate Islamic kids? The hate in itself is NONE of the school's business.

Now, if the hate leads to physical bullying, then sure...intervene against the bullying. But teachers aren't thought police; they have no business concerning themselves with what Johnny loves, hates, likes, or dislikes if it isn't related to academia.
