Teachers in Louisiana on average leave the Louisiana school system five years after graduation only to go to texas and a couple of other states. Our govenor did a state wide inquiery of the Louisiana teachers to find out why they were leaveing. One was the pay so they gave them all 1000 dollar raise which they where more than happy with. But that was not the number one reason they were leaving. They were leaving because of a lack of dicipline in the classroom and the lack of power and ability to maintain order in their own classroom. It is by far the biggest problem our nations schools face because no matter how much money or how many top teachers you throw at it. If the kids don't have to mind they don't have to learn and everything you throw at it wont help.

Gov. Jindal has taken steps in my state to reverse this crap and hopefully we will be a model and example for the rest of the nation. Kids need to be put back in their place as do parents and teachers. It is a system with a support system that works best and any link in that system breaks it down as we have proof by the decline in our educational system.

As long as their is no REAL abuse then the only rights a child has is to do as they are told if you want to make them adults well you see the result of that. Well at least the smart people with their eyes open see what it has done to this nation.
