Duck's pm's are driving me close to insanity!
Anyway...
AWESOME news, our kids got accepted into our first choice private NC school for the 2008-2009 school year. Have I mentioned that, yet? I'm a tad excited.

Here's where my age sets in.
I will soon have a 5th and 8th grader...the Catholic schools only go up to 8th grade and we expect to be there for their entire high school careers.

Every teacher, principal, counselor, etc. you talk to will tell you the same thing: the more the parents get involved, the better the student does.
Oddly, though, they fail to tell you the obvious conclusion: if the parent takes over 100% of the schooling, the child can get the best education possible. But, I guess since it IS blatantly obvious, any parent who gives a shit will figure it out.

NCLB takes time away from the Homo anal sex and global warming political agenda.....it's a travesty!
Public schools need to start paying Federal income taxes, Teacher's salaries can be cut to pay for these taxes.
