the officers even said this:
"we aren't trying to prevent you from getting on myspace, we are just trying to make you aware"
but they still go on with rants about how unsafe it is, how an online predator can slip through a private profile, or a cyber bully could lead you to hang yourself in a closet!

Obviously, the girl was mentally weak.
I don't have a problem with educating school kids about the dangers of the internet, myspace in particular. I think it is good to prepare them for the 'drama' that they may face.
I don't think it is myspace's fault the girl is dead. Bullying is not anything new to society. However, preparing kids for the cruelty that happens online isn't necessarily blaming anything/anybody.
