As a musician and band director I wish I had studied chemistry and physics so that I would have had a clue as to how to understand the acoustical physics class I had to pass in college.
Considering most kids enter college still not knowing what they want to be, it's helpful to have a little knowledge in all areas.
I never knew how geometry would affect my life till I started shooting pool and writing half time shows.
I didn't realize how much I needed English until as a teacher I sent home letters that were returned from parents with red pen markings.
Still trying to figure out why I needed biology but because of learning a foreign language I now know I have to press 1 to talk to anyone.
