Bingo--if you want to find why our schools are in such bad shape--look no further than the unions.--look no further than liberalism.
When you work in a union there is virtually nothing that can get you fired as long as you abide by the rules. Teacher's pay is dictated by their ability to show up--and by no means accounts for the teacher's ability to TEACH!!
If you want to fix schools--like anything else--get unions and big liberal government the hell out of the way.

Why are all union members--your 100,000 teachers included--laid off?? Because hiring and employing unions will drive any budget into the red--and even in the red--the union thugs continue to ask for more more more.....
Unions would rather drive 100,000 teachers out of work--than make a few concessions in their current salary and benefits--which the schools can't afford--and if the school's can't afford them--its because the taxpayer can't afford them. The average taxpayer has to live within their means and within a
budget---unions and liberal government dont know the meaning of the word
