Yep, it must be that you can only teach if you have those Ed. credits under your belt. Doesn't matter at all whether you actually know the subject you are teaching...what matters is thos Ed. credits.
Sheesh.
With NCLB, virtually no one save a few in higher math and science, art, music and PE, and in languages can be hired to be a teacher anywhere in the country. Anybody who thinks the districts are scooping bums up from under bridges and hiring them as teachers is an idiot.
You want to see the problem folks, you are looking at it with the thinking of this poster.
