Think that pretty much says it all, the Kids need written permission to go to the student health center. All a parent has to do is not give permission.
That settles that.
Geez its starting already, all this talking points on moral issues before the primaries.

Permission or not it is still wrong. I'm not afraid to say it.

It's not wrong to teach kids sex ed and STD'S, it's wrong for publicly run schools to pass out birth control. A MINOR CHILD should be examined by a family practice doctor and explained the possible side of effects of birth control.

What about condoms?
I don't think they have side effects.
Face it kids start getting horny and exploring at that age.......and if they are uninformed lack of a condom probably won't stop most of them.

Latex allergies are very common now. I don't have a problem with sex education in school, teaching about STD's and teaching methods of birth control. If the schools pass out birth control are they also going to treat STD's??
It's MY responsibility as a parent to take my daughter to the doctors for birth control. My girls are 9 and 12, we have an open and honest relationship about human sexuality. I'm not worried about my kids.
Who Is Affected By Latex Allergy?
Other than healthcare workers, people at increased risk for developing latex allergy include those who have:
A defect in their bone marrow cells.
A deformed bladder or urinary tract.
A history of multiple surgeries.
A urinary catheter, which has a rubber tip.
Allergy, asthma or eczema.
Food allergies to bananas, avocados, kiwis or chestnuts.

He he lol , geez , my sides hurt, this is a hoot.
I am pretty sure the " Student Health Center " might be capable of telling them all the risks of birth control.
Latex allergies????? LOL ..........Boy I bet you guys would hate to find out you had a latex allergy the first time you used a condom.lol .........
In actuality latex allergies are rare , ask any hospital where they use LATEX GLOVES . LOL Worried about Latex allergies. LOL .... LOL
I'd worry more about getting some girl pregnant if I was a young man than getting a rash. LOL .... Can't help it this struck me as funny.
Little Johnny comes home at 15 and tells his parents , mom , dad,... I think I got suzie pregnant , .........Oh no say his parents , why didn't you use a condom.......Little Johnny says..... I was afraid it would give me a Rash. LOL

You are a pig.
Our daughters are academically high achieving and are involved in sports, I am not concerned. They respect their bodies and think the Paris', Brittney's, and Lindsey's are trailer trash.

I don't support any ruling of this kind without a parents consent. A doctor shouldn't prescribe birth control to a female with a family history of breast cancer or ovarian cancer. Children may not know about this history or fail to mention it to a medical professional.

You don't think academically high achieving soccer players get pregnant too? ............Wrong. I hope and pray for your sake ocean breeze your daughters do not I honestly do. . Because you are exactly the kind of parent I am talking about. Are your daughters going to come to you and say, mom I know you don't want me to have sex , but I met this guy and he really makes me feel special and I am going to have sex with him. .........No they won't ocean breeze because its apparent you would lay on the quilt trip and talk about how it was wrong and how disappointed in them you'd be if they have sex . And in the end give them no help to do it safely if they are going to anyway. The conversation would end with them promising to not do it , you watching them a little closer for awhile and in the end most likely they'd do it anyway.
Be disappointed all you want ocean breeze it will be worse if they get pregnant or catch a disease. Two wrongs don't make a right and quilt tripping a kid is the wrong thing to do , it just about guarantees they will start to hide things from you as they get older.
Why are you calling me a pig ocean breeze? I don't understand the term in relation to wanting to give puperty aged children sex education along with contraceptive advice if they become sexually active and contrary to what people with as much intelligence as a pig believe , kids will lie to their parents and have sex, especially kids who have moms and dads who will throw a fit and condemn them for it.
