9% of U.S. Kids Have ADHD

Ill choose to not beleive you. My personal beleif is that a large amount of the learning disabilitys that are diagnosed are overdiagnosed and mismedicated.

Ive actually read a couple books on this.

There grades fall. They are thrown in Special Education in High School. Then they are brought back to learning 4th and 5th grade math.

I fail to see how or why we allow teachers and schools to diagnos these in the first place either.

Nope, don't teach them any of that, but have taught them from a young age to respect their bodies.

Americans must know it all we feed our people junk food and end up with all these health problems then we give them a bunch of drugs to coat the problems. Then we mass produce the most inefficient mode of transportation with the knowlege of better ways. Then we seem to have convinced ourselves that we can make peace with war. Better yet education is not even close to the top of our priorities. I was a kid who teachers and docters clamed was A.D.D and decidid I needed ridlin. What they faild to realize was that I didnt like what I was being tought. Like American history for example only half the story was being told by our goverment printed text books. Like the extermination of the Native American poeple and suppression of the Africans that were brought here. Under the constitution that all men were created equal. Then all the fear mongering about the war on drugs when it was the big wiggs themselves who was bringing the drugs over here and dumping it into the poor communities. Meanwile I was being percribed drugs so I would not "act out" in class. The kids know that somthing is wrong with the way this country is being run but thay are just kids and feel thay have no control over what thay want to be when they grow up with substanderd education. That is why thay are rebeling thay are not being told the Truth.

No, not true. A very small amount of children really need to be on ritalin, what have you for ADHD. The rest really need discpline, not medicine.

When have we ever been told "the truth?" The job of society is to maintain agreed to controls on behaviour. As the level of agreement collapses society becomes more disfunctional.

The truth is not told, it is sought after, and partially found, perhaps -if one is willing to think, and listen with an open mind.

That possibly could be true. But, I have known people from when I was in school that were ADHD and that was from 1973-1986, and we didn't have any where near the amount of junk food or soda back then.
