I'm not feelin' it.

Also, I'm concerned over his appearance. In his case, dropping that weight didn't do a thing for him. He looks haggard and I'm thinking about his illness that's in "remission".

Exactly Rob.

I say don’t predispose them to the habitual habit forming cure all, but challenge the mind and body first.

Drugs should always be a last resort.

Yea, he did look a bit tired the last time I saw him, but sometime when people lose weight they look different than we're used to seeing them.?

I guess if there is a real issue concerning his health, he'll make the right decision in that regard.

We'll see though?

Like a lot of other things, it is way over-diagnosed (and I question whether it is a legitimate 'illness' or not). I think doctors must get kickbacks from the pharm. companies for all the medication they prescribe. This 'illness' is a recent phenomena and I don't think that there was a problem getting all these same types of kids to pay attention even 15 years ago - we medicate to make our lives easier, but it doesn't help the kid. Its a fuckin' shame.

Dom, I think that we have more meds to take today, because we as people refuse to get the exercise an stay away from foods that give us heartburn for starters.

I was actually diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and Asberger's Syndrome at the age of 7, WE DO NOT NEED RELAXANT DRUGS OR A CURE!!! I'm glad I have hyperactivity and autism because it has made me into the intellectual person I am, I don't care about my social life, I just care about soaking up knowledge, and then switching to another random topic.

"Asbergers Syndrome"? If it's pronounced the way it looks here........ouch! I know you didn't announce that to your classmates growing up. Sorry, sometimes I can be insensitive. My apologies.

I know, pronouncing it was hard for me, all the kids thought I was in my own little World, and I had to explain which was uncomfortable and funny to them.

Now that I'm 14 most of my classmates know what I have, I'm practically a walking encyclopedia and a member of the autistic civil rights movement and the Aspies for Freedom organization.
