One note: These government stats are the most recent but they are from 2005 .

Where did this come from? I find it hard to believe 10% of the work force is only making minimum wage.

Oh,wait, I note this 10% figure includes those who would be making minimum wage if they increased it to $7.50 and actually something less than 4% are currenently making minimum wage. Am I reading that correctly?

I thought this was going to affect a lot more people. I guess that we were told wrong.

Yes that is my interpretation. This is an economic site and uses government statistics.

listin you want to pay minimum wage workers more then how about you gather up all the people who feal the same way create a trust and pay these folks out of your own money what you think they should be getting paid
