Anyway I challange you to show some PROOF that raising the minum rage causes sm. business's to go under.

Also, the U.S. economy is a consumer driven economy, you raise miminum wage, workers now have more money to purchase perishable and durable goods.

Here's what I can't figure out. Who determines a livable wage? Why throw chickenshit raises to people who are in poverty? If things are so bad for minimum wage earners, why give them a buck an ahour raise? Why insult them like that? Why not make minimum wage the same as union scale?

In my line of work, no one would work for less than $14/hr. And that's if they have just a little skill and about 1-2 yrs experience.

FORGET IT GIXY......This is just more Republican BS and rant. We already know that sm. Business's that are managed well and theirs a public need for their products or services can not only survive hikes in minimum wage but will prosper as well. The poorly mis-managed business's will not---regardless of minimum wage hikes.
