It is well known that the world entered a "Little Ice Age" from about 1300 until about 1850.

It is further known that our sun has a slight variation in it's brightness and has bee getting brighter for the past 150 years. The total increase is less than 1% so far, but less than one percent of the total of the sun's radiation to earth is still a LOT.

Nor is it proven that an increase will be a disaster. It will lead to a larger cloud cover which will cause a decrease in the energy reaching the surface, so it may even out.

There are just too many unknowns. A constant is that the people who are demanding radical change also want to be the ones in charge of saying what changes should be made.
YES Global warming is MAN MADE UP:-(

What will the conservatives and entrepenuers do? Put all the trees in a tree museum, and charge all the people a dollar and a half just to see 'em?

The Brits have just given you sense and analysis, and you are pretending that this is great because ice sales will be up.

The costal cities will be underwater if the ocean levels rise. Hundreds of New Orleans, all over the world.

How about nuclear power?
Twenty years in 1986 we had the Chernobyl disaster and in 1979 the Three Mile Island. I believe that the death toll from Three Mile Island was 0 and the total death caused by Chernobyl was 45. With regard to Chernobyl 31 people were killed when the reactor blew and 134 people received high doses of radiation of which 14 died.
Studies in Switzerland have shown that for every unit of electricity produced that nuclear in 40 times safer than coal.
Nuclear power also has a lower carbon foot print that wind turbines.
A twenty-year study of the wild life within the vicinity of Chernobyl has shown that there are no detrimental effects to wild life.
At present the residents of the Isle of Lewis (an island off North west of Scotland) are fighting governments plans to build thousands of wind turbines. These turbines will blight the island. It is estimated they will produce enough power to provide the needs of 1 million people when the wind is blowing.
The UK has had a drop in its carbon emissions due to the Conservatives party changing power production from coal power stations to high efficient gas turbines.
Coal also leaks methane into the atmosphere, which is estimate to be 25 times more damaging than carbon dioxide.
France also has a low carbon emission due to the fact that it has invested heavily into nuclear power
