We have this week seen the champions of deregulated free market capitalism surrendering completely and pleading to be allowed into the regulated socialist society so they can survive inside of a civilized economy.

They found that in the wilderness they were free to get lots of easy wealth, until the wolves and bears and boars and snakes and surrounded them and started to pick them off one by one.

Now they've come pleading with the socialists to protect them from certain death in the unregulated, wild west, law of the jungle, free market capitalism where no one is ruled by any moral code.

it certainly feels like a "see, I told you so" moment. as far as I'm concerned, I'd prefer them to just die.
