and the anti-Capitalism crowd here has none-if any serious argument against a free market.

You are confusing the conservatives mythological Milton Friedman with the real Milton Friedman. Uncle Milt was more than a good bit naive in thinking that those who said his name understood what he was thinking or saying. He's another example of the phenomenon of what Ben Stein described as "Adam Smith didn't wear an Adam Smith tie." And yes, conservatives sell ties with Adam Smith on them so they can wear Adam Smith ties while talking about how it is immoral for corporation to be constrained by moral codes. Turning Adam Smith, a Moral Philosopher, on his head.

The sooner we get rid of this disease called capitalism, the better.

Actually I believe in capitalism, but I mean the process of increasing capital, while those who claim to be capitalists are actually consumerists, consuming capital increasingly voraciously.

In their view:

The earth is capital to be consumed.

The built capital from the liberals is to be consumed - that's why bridges are falling down, and levies failing, that plus the consumption of the earth which once put tens of miles of wind and surge absorbing land and trees between such places as New Orleans and the Gulf of Mexico.

And human capital is to be exploited and whenever possible discarded, although the human part is expected to be consumers, who must borrow and consume, and then be condemned as irresponsible louts.
