Why not look at the one whose "expertise" and judgement was relied upon by 4 Presidents ......former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan ..... was appointed to the post by Reagan in 1987 ..... retained by Bush the elder, Bill Clinton and until 2006 by Gdubya ...... He certainly was instrumental in paving the way to the mess we now find our Country in ......

No one asks who's starting rumors of banks being in trouble which causes panic, well its the Fed doing it to gain control of all financial markets with are money, then they come in to save the day...yeah right! Bernanke, Paulson, sleep in the same bed. Wake up these are the real terrorists.

You sure are a cranky old fuck. Yes, Greenspan contributed, but he is a symptom of the cause. What's the point here? To point fingers or to solve the problem and keep it from happening again? To solve the problem, you have to get at the core. Greenspan is not, was not the core problem. DIG DEEPER.

Anyone who attempts to consign all or even most of the blame for the mess we are in to any individual, group, or party is either dishonest or delusional ..... many of both parties have allowed and contributed to the mess ...... business interests (greed) ....... politically driven social interests (loans of all sort to the financially unqualified) ..... there is plenty of blame to go around ...... I'm far less interested in pointing a finger at the perps than fixing it......

If they would gather enough testicles in DC to prosecute the guilty (which is not likely) cast them out of politics and business and into prison for long terms .... and .... confiscate their ill gotten gains from their crimes ..... I'd go for that..... but we know from past experience there will be no more than a few hands slapped ......
