It's a Limbaugh transcript... he doesn't give anything away for free. Gotta support that Oxy prescription somehow...

Actually SP, Rush (typical ) tells several out right lies and the first biggie is the thing about the housing crisis. It was the Bush administration who appointed a new HUD chair that allowed bad loans to get out of control. The rate of foreclosures and bad/unpaid loans went way up after 2000.

Rush cannot be more wrong, he is an ass. No wonder you are so misinformed, you listen to him...he is a real joke.

People that abuse drugs on the level that Rush does, always have warped perceptions of reality. Drugs or not, the guys salary is based on how many people he can get to listen to his show. He's nothing more than a shock jock. Truth takes a back seat, EVERYTIME!

Funny how republicans can stay informed without news. It is all preconcieved notions. You don't need crap like facts getting in the way. In a free market system where you can sell anything you can produce. Why are so many media outlets selling liberal reality while so few sell conservative reality?

Here is a preconcieved notion:

Quote:
I bet this caller was fired from her job for using crack and started selling crack until her crack dealer was killed. Now, she blames Bush for her demise.
Here is a fact:

Rush Limbaugh IS a proven drug addict!

You know I agree with one point about the news though. It does have a liberal bias. Just like education. There is a liberal bias in education as well. If what we teach about and report, and if news and education have liberal biases I would then have to assume reality has a liberal bias. Which is why we should not watch the news. Which is also why I hear complaints all the time about liberal teachers from conservative students, but rarely do I hear complaints about conservative teachers from liberal students. Even growing up I used to hear Aggie jokes. The aggies were dumb, backwards, etc. Now that I am grown up I understand why. Lone Star Times » Preparing for Hurricane Rita, Aggie-style

Conservative reality? Oxymoron. The contemporary (hell, I can't even call them conservatives anymore) rightwing manufactures their own reality.

I don't so much think it is manufacturing a reality. Conservatives are known to be holder and keepers of the status quo. In this nation we used to be the best. They were good days. We fought wars for REAL security problems and not industries. We were leading the world in the development of democracy. Most of our programs were state of the art.

Not anymore. We fight wars to distract attention from BJs. We fight wars to curb markets. We fight wars for revenge. And truthfully God only knows why else. It is hard to let go of being superior soldiers and admitting to war industrialization and assembly line effciency.

Our democracy is constantly called lacking because of low voter participation, having a two party system, not holding our elected employees accountable, on both sides.

That missile that took out a satellite came a year after China's. We dock at MIR not Skylab or Freedom.

Status quo will take sometime to change, but with the southern conservative, real conservative fracture of the Republican party it will be hastened.

Limbaugh's statement, " the American people make the country work, not a President, politician, etc. A President, politician can make it harder, or make it easier, but the American people make our economy work."

How can you lefties argue with that? How is that propoganda? How is that a lie?

Is that the same mortgage crisis, that like 6 Dem politicians are getting busted for getting "special" loan rates from the same lenders who were right in the middle of the scandal?
