Default You guys want to get rich?

Quit your fucking jobs and learn how to build homes. Three years from now send me a private message on how successful you've become with your new found skills. Its like magic. I'm 21 and in the process of buying/building my first home. Your boss isn't going to give you that raise he has been promising. Just start building, its easy, cheap, and the return is... well... like I said, I'm building my own home.

Where I live you can't just up and build a house without a contractors license if you are borrowing money from a bank.

I thought you were moving to Europe? How the hell can you afford it when you said down below you were a life long student? What the hell are you using to build it with? Two chairs and a blanket?

Not true. You can always build a home on property you own as long as it is single story. My house is going to be two stories though, but I have a contractors license, it costs $250 and 30min of studying. It isn't even difficult, let alone impossible.

I'm graduating soon (i think). I work for a living, I'm getting a loan out for the land and materials, and I'm going to build the house myself (not as hard as it sounds, the Amish raise barns in one day).

and I can't afford moving to Europe, this country keeps taxing me and fucking up the dollar to stop me from leaving! I'll be in Europe in about a year though, Barcelona, where I'll be building another home.

I have a friend that just completed building his own home in Colorado. But, he's 43. Maybe you do a couple tester houses through habitat for humanity?

Dumba$$, do you have any experience building a house?

NO.

So why don't you volunteer with Habitat for Humanities and get some free experience on building a house?
