Somewhere around 1980-81, I watched as my father struggled to deal with the recession. One day, I offered the obvious suggestion to him: Dad, why don't they just print more money. From a 15 year olds perspective, this sounded totally resonable. After all, I WAS 15 you know, I do know something about economics. Geez, whatta ya think I'm stupid or somethin'? This combined with my midwest farmtown public education, assured me that I was on the right track.
