Taxes for business in America
Just wondering what the intelligent people on this board think about NO taxes for business that stay in America (no outsourcing)

Money has to come from somewhere. The government has to function. The reason for business not to pay is that in the end they are not the ones that pay anyway. They just past that cost along to us.

For those opposed Why?
It is not like business pay taxes anyway. They just pass that cost to us the consumer.
Raising taxes and taxing businesses don't hurt business it hurts us.
Besides it is double (or more) taxation. We ge taxes on the money we make THEN we get taxed when we spend that money, THEN the business get taxes on the same money.
After all that taxing the out of a dollar the government get more then half.
So why are you opposed to it?

Well, I would support this but once goverment has gotten in your wallet, how do you get them out?

Thats funny......I just paid my prepay taxes for 2007 and t was probably more than most individuals make, and it isn't a fun check to write out so it hits a nerve when people make a claim like that......Not only that we pay payroll taxes (in addition to what is deducted from ea. employee.....we have sales tax..property tax. Once that is all said and done, the owners of the company (if it is an S corp) get to pay thier own year end taxes. And for the government...we collect, remit and report the taxes they want..free of charge/ we collect remit and report child support for deadbeat dads...free of charge/ we report new employees to the gov. / free of charge / we report payments to non employees to make sure they are reporting their income....free of charge...... So please, to say that businesses don't pay taxes is untrue. If anything we get raped in taxes if we are honest (which believe it or not...some of us still are), and we do a lot of the work for the government that we sould never have had to do.
The idea of a law for businesses to not pay taxes??? It will never happen - ever. And the fair tax across the board...it will never..ever happen. Do you know why it will never happen? Tax accountants, tax attorneys, not to mention a whole list of government agencies that they will fight it all the way........it'll will never happen. Sounds great though.
