Now where does the money come from?

Why would a Local Legislature be allowed to stop a retailer from selling Alcohol or stopping someone from building a Casino or some form of Gambling? Let alone Narcotics if they are decriminalized.
If they outlaw tax sources, they can do without. I doubt the large cities who would need that much money would outlaw anything they can tax. Only small towns with a sheriff and a handful of Goober Deputies would apply. And I doubt the costs to police a town of a couple thousand range into the mutli-millions...
As I did say, Public Schooling is a big problem that could be completely privatized and all the money in the world we need to throw at Education we would have to give to studends in Vouchers.
Of course when you rethink the purpose of Government and bring it down into a manageable and non-intrusive size. There would be more money to go around, and better services for your tax dollars.
I do imagine if you believe your local Football team needs 100 million for a stadium or billions more for corporate handouts than we won't get nowhere. Government waste and Government size are the issue, not actually taxation.
The more they can take from you, the less power the individual citizen has. As has been shown, you give Government a Dollar, the waste a million and exert more control over the populace.
