But let me ask you this: all things considered, and understanding that neither would do exactly as would Ron Paul or a Libertarian (in reality neither of these would or would be able to do exactly as you want, either), which do you believe is more LIKELY to do things MORE like you would hope Paul or a Libertarian would, a Democrat or a Republican?

Neither. Democrats and Republicans do anger me. I do not waste my life with activism, I'm not a charismatic or well spoken person to sit and teach classes or hold seminar with the Cato Institute.
I do howevor vote for whome I agree with. I can not express enough, that the Libertarian Party, and Ron Paul agree with what I have beleived since i was 16 years old.
Commodity backed money.
No Income or Property Taxes.
Smaller Government.
Bill of Rights
Property Rights.
Gun rights.
Limited power of the Federal Government.
non-interventionism.
Show me a Candidate of any of the two Major Parties that meets 7 out of 8 of those things, and we got a talk.
I think the only two that come remotely close is Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich. If I spelled that right. Dennis Kucinich loses all validity with me for wanting to ban handguns. Ron Paul has me in disagreement regarding a number of minor issues I did not even list. So I reserve my vote for those who allign with my beliefs. Noone else.

I guess I was unclear. It's very clear, that a nutcase like Kucinich and that Ron Paul have no chance of getting their party's nomination, and even less chance of ever becoming president.
So, I'll try it again (and I don't care whether you are able to speak like William F. Buckley, or Mike Tyson): which of the two parties, in general, do you think BETTER represent (ostensibly, outwardly--in practice may be another thing) your own values as an American?

If these are my only choices. The only choices that I can have. Than I'll take none of the above.
I have too many problems of contempt for the platforms and ideology of the GOP or the DNC. I am a Libertarian, after all. So what you fail to grasp is that I will not compromise the dues I send to the Libertarian Party of Illinois for choosing the lesser of two evils.
No change can come from accepting the same repetitive problematic politicians who promise everything and deliver nothing.
I may be in the Minority, but when I go to the polls, I feel content in my vote.

Still confused...
Are YOU not as stupid as me, or are you saying that _I_ am not a stupid as me?
