All of the things listed in that article are things that FIAWOL (LIAR) and Gary said never existed.

Now, if Gary was truly one who gave a shit about government efficiency and not a party hack he might be able to criticize this stuff, but he won't, because as long as it is the Obama administration that is wasting the money (and helping out Johm Murtha and his constituents - ie PORK!) then it is OK.

You damn well know that it is true, Gary, go ahead and tell me it isn't. Go ahead and pretend you give a shit about government waste.

Gary, quit getting so upset because your marriage is only recognized in 11 states!
Not my job to find sources for your bullshit claims..

Now, try again, the link you gave is to a partisan website.

What source do you have to support $300 road signs?

A real source this time. AP, the Congressional budget office, or?

Why haven't you idiots posted these things and examined them?

    1. $1.5 million in “free” stimulus money for a new wastewater treatment plant results in higher utility costs for residents of Perkins, Oklahoma.

    2. $1 billion for FutureGen in Mattoon, Illinois is the “biggest earmark of all time” for a power plant that may never work.

    3. $15 million for “shovel-ready” repairs to little-used bridges in rural Wisconsin are given priority over widely used bridges that are structurally deficient.

    4. $800,000 for little-used John Murtha Airport in Johnstown, Pennsylvania airport to repave a back-up runway; the ‘Airport for Nobody’ Has Already Received Tens of Millions in Taxpayer dollars.

    5. $3.4 million for a wildlife “eco-passage” in Florida to take animals safely under a busy roadway.

    6. Nevada non-profit gets $2 million weatherization contract after recently being fired for same type of work.

    7. $1.15 million for installation of a new guard rail for the non-existent Optima Lake in Oklahoma.

    8. Nearly $10 million to renovate an abandoned train station that hasn’t been used in 30 years.

    9. 10,000 dead people get stimulus checks, but the Social Security Administration blames a tough deadline.

    10. Town of Union, New York, encouraged to spend a $578,000 grant it did not request for a homelessness problem it claims it does not have.

Public Wary of Deficit, Economic Intervention - WSJ.com

But the poll suggests Mr. Obama faces challenges on multiple fronts, including growing concerns about government spending and the bailout of auto companies. A majority of people also disapprove of his decision to close the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Nearly seven in 10 survey respondents said they had concerns about federal interventions into the economy, including Mr. Obama's decision to take an ownership stake in General Motors Corp., limits on executive compensation and the prospect of more government involvement in health care. The negative feeling toward the GM rescue was reflected elsewhere in the survey as well.

A solid majority -- 58% -- said that the president and Congress should focus on keeping the budget deficit down, even if takes longer for the economy to recover.

Laura Zamora, 40, of Orange, Calif., voted for Mr. Obama but says she is frustrated by the economy and finds her support for the president waning. She says she's facing a possible layoff as a local government worker in California.

"He's bailing out the private sector. He's putting all kinds of money into the private sector," says Mrs. Zamora. "The money should be going to social programs, not to bailing out banks and GM. It should go to

I find this to be a bogus complaint. I am sure the Social Security Administration uses the same list it uses every month to send it's normal checks. At 10,000 dead people and 12 months a year, that would come to 120,000 people in a country of 306.7 million per year. The United States has a death rate of 8.2 per 1000 or 2.515 million per year. 10,000 people is less than 5% of the dead people every month and I am sure nearly all are elderly. It isn't hard to believe that the Social Security Administration isn't notified 5% of the time of an elderly American's death.

Florida is a Republican state. It's Governor and Lt Governor are Republicans. It's State Senate has 26 Republicans, 14 Democrats and it's State House has 76 Republicans, 44 Democrats. Why did they request funding for this particular project?

A report on a Coburn site called the road the turtle killing capital of America.

I've heard reports this project was rejected.
