Default George Soros the evil Dracula

I am going to viciously attack George Soros in every thread.

There are two people here who have absolute hardons for Rupert Murdoch.

I think that they are either irrevocably brain dead or they mention Murdoch every chance they get because they think it bothers me.

Also I will be posting thread about how left-wing the media really is.

Unlike these two above mentioned morons I will provide verifiable sources instead of baseless accusations.

12 Aug 1930 George Soros born, Budapest Hungary.
1944 Hides for a year from the Nazis, after they invade Hungary.
1947 Leaves Hungary for Britain to attend London School of Economics.
    1956 Moves to United States.
1969 Establishes Quantum Fund, and dabbles in currency manipulation. Average return of that fund is an astonishing 35% per year, since its inception.
1979 Establishes Open Society Fund, New York City.
16 Sep 1992 In a brazen act of currency speculation, places a hedge bet that the UK will devalue the Pound Sterling. In September this nets him $1B in a single day.
1995 Appointed director, Council on Foreign Relations.
1997 Attacks the currencies of Thailand and Malaysia. A Thai source said: "We regard George Soros as a kind of Dracula. He sucks blood from the people." [Heather Coffin, Covert Action Quarterly.]
2002 Convicted of insider trading, with regards to the stock of a French bank in 1988. Fined $2M.
Nov 2002 Soros is the primary sponsor of Nevada's ballot initiative to legalize marijuana.
12 Sep 2003 "If you impose morality on [business], it means that you are actually with your hands tied behind your back and you're not going to be successful. It's extremely hard to be successful." Interview, David Brancaccio, Now with Bill Moyers.
7 Nov 2003 Moscow offices of the Soros Foundation stormed by forty armed men who seize papers and seal the building, after Soros criticized the recent jailing of one of Russia's oligarchs, Mikhail Khodorkovsky of oil company Yukos. The building's owner claims rent was not being paid, an unlikely explanation.
31 Mar 2004 While appearing at a human rights conference in Kiev, Ukraine, George Soros is splattered with water and mayonnaise by two members of the radical nationalist group, Bratstvo.
29 Aug 2004 During an interview on Fox News Sunday with host Chris Wallace, Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert insinuates Soros is funneling profits from drug cartels to special interest groups (a baseless accusation):

When George Soros, and the Quantum Fund which he manages, bet against the pound in 1992, the operations of his fund and the Bank of England could best be described as a high-stake poker game. They played several rounds and at each round, Soros raised the stakes. The Bank of England called (paid the bet) and the game went on for a few days or weeks. Finally, the Bank of England could not spend any more money to protect the value of the pound. The Bank of England folded and Soros won
In this case, the parties were playing with other people's money. The losers were the taxpayers and people of England on whose behalf the Bank of England was playing, and the winners were the investors in the Quantum Fund. According to reports, the Quantum Fund made US$1 billion betting against the pound. In plain English, there was a transfer of income or wealth totalling $1 billion from the British people to the wealthy investors in the Quantum Fund.
Much attention is given to George Soros because the Quantum Fund is one of the largest and most publicized hedge funds; but in fact, there are many more operators of large funds in the foreign exchange market.

No Central Bank has at its disposal as much money as all hedge fund managers. This is a fast growing and highly competitive business.
The Quantum Fund does not trade in US securities and residents of the US cannot invest directly in the Quantum Fund. A US resident can however, invest in a money market fund, either in the US or abroad, and the manager of that fund can put part of his portfolio into a hedge fund such as Quantum Fund. As indicated earlier, a gambler can play with his/her own funds or with someone else's savings.

First, the people who are gambling on the global foreign exchange market are now a great deal richer than they were in July 1997. The Prime Minister of Malaysia says that the immediate cost to the region was $300 billion. This is probably an estimate of the loss of reserves and the sale of assets to try and protect the value of the currency of a few countries. The transfer of wealth from Asia to the hedge fund investors is probably much higher. And Asia will also lose a great deal more in the coming years - from the decline in output and investment and the need to pay higher debt service.

The evidence of this transfer of wealth will be made public in a few years when the statistics released on the distribution of income in the world will show that the G7 countries, which have been growing at half the rate of East Asian economies, have increased their share of world output.

    Insider trading conviction

In 1988, he was asked to join a takeover attempt of a French bank. He declined to participate in the bid, but did later buy a relatively small number of shares in the company. Fourteen years later, in 2002, a French court ruled that it was insider trading as defined under French securities laws and fined him $2 million.

    Uh-oh.

He IS a convict unlike Rupie.

    Criticism of financial activities

Critics claim that Soros has an undue influence on currency markets through Quantum Fund, his privately-owned investment fund. Like many large hedge funds, it is registered in an offshore tax haven, specifically Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles.

In an August 2004 appearance on Chris Wallace's FOX News Sunday, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Dennis Hastert, stated, "We don't know where George Soros's money comes from. We don't know where it comes from, from the left, and you don't know where it comes in the right. You know, Soros's money, some of that is coming from overseas. It could be drug money. We don't know where it comes from." Soros responded to Hastert by saying, "by smearing me with false charges and mischaracterizations you are attempting to stifle critical debate and intimidate those who believe this administration is leading the country in a ruinous direction. Now that I have called you on your false accusation, you are using additional smear tactics." [3] Soros filed an official complaint with the House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct. Soros claimed that Hastert's comments "strongly suggests a deliberate effort to use smear tactics, intimidation and falsehoods to silence criticism."

Real thief. Singlehandedly destroyed banks all over the world. Costing the "little people" billions of dollars.

All so that he could get a little richer.

    New guy huh?

glad that he is a leftists.

Glad that he is on the Dem's side.

    Criticism of political activities

George Soros has many critics amongst American conservatives and supporters of Israel.

Supporters of the Bush administration dislike his contributions to campaigns against Bush. At a Jewish forum in New York City, Soros partially attributed a recent resurgence of anti-Semitism to the policies of Israel and the United States, and to successful Jews such as himself:

"There is a resurgence of anti-Semitism in Europe. The policies of the Bush administration and the Sharon administration contribute to that. It's not specifically anti-Semitism, but it does manifest itself in anti-Semitism as well. I'm critical of those policies.
If we change that direction, then anti-Semitism also will diminish. I can't see how one could confront it directly...
I'm also very concerned about my own role because the new anti-Semitism holds that the Jews rule the world... As an unintended consequence of my actions ... I also contribute to that image."
Self admitted jew hater to boot?

On drug legalization: "I'll tell you what I'd do if it were up to me. I would establish a strictly controlled distribution network through which I would make most drugs, excluding the most dangerous ones like crack, legally available. Initially I would keep the prices low enough to destroy the drug trade. Once that objective was attained I would keep raising the prices, very much like the excise duty on cigarettes, but I would make an exception for registered addicts in order to discourage crime. I would use a portion of the income for prevention and treatment. And I would foster social opprobrium of drug use.
George Soros don't need to follow no stinking laws.

He is a law upon to himself.

Calling himself a philanthropist, billionaire George Soros' role is to tighten the ideological stranglehold of globalization and the New World Order while promoting his own financial gain. Soros' commercial and "philanthropic" operations are clandestine, contradictory and coactive. And as far as his economic activities are concerned, by his own admission, he is without conscience; a capitalist who functions with absolute amorality.

    uh oh.

    Looking less friendly.

All of this in 15 minutes of reasearch, yet the two idiots that are obsessed with Murdoch can't even provide one source.

Master-builder of the new bribe sector systematically bilking the world
Because the left, like Hillary and Jean Kerry are inherent cowards.

Soros is a leading figure on the Council of Foreign Relations, the World Economic Forum,
now if he could just get that Bilderburger invitation.

    he invented the "hedge fund."

"...hedge funds catered to very wealthy individuals... The largely secretive funds, usually trading in offshore locations. . produced astronomically superior results. The size of the "bets" often became self fulfilling prophecies: 'rumors of a position taken by the big hedge funds prompted other investors to follow suit,' which would in turn force up the price the hedgers were betting on to begin with."
Oh no the truth hurts so bad.

while you are worrying about Rupie this guy is buying ever leader in the world.

Soros once made a billion dollars in one day by speculating (a word he abhors) on the British pound. Accused of taking "money from every British taxpayer when he speculated against sterling," he said, "When you speculate in the financial markets you are free of most of the moral concerns that confront an ordinary businessman.. .I did not have to concern myself with moral issues in the financial markets."

but you better follow the rules of ethics because you aren't a multi-billionaire.
