But if the stories about attempted library censorship on the part of Ms. Palin are true, and she actually had a librarian fired merely for doing the right thing, which that librarian certainly did in resisting that censorship, it's a very bad reflection on Palin. Library censorship is bad, period. Private citizens have no right to tell other Americans what they may or may not read at a public library.
Censoring books is absolutely unamerican. We must NEVER allow the government to open the slippery slope to the arbitrary and capricious banning of what Americans read or view.
What is it you don't understand. Anenberg is probably the premier media fact-checking organization in the country. And I've not heard of Snopes making a habit of retracting what they put out there.
This is a bullshit story...much like the dozens of other the panicky democrats are putting out there.
