The articles were intereting, but not surprising. While I would love to see if the American people were duped, I think that it would waste precious resources (time and money) that could be spent elsewhere. Furthermore, I think exhaustive investigations would drive an even bigger wedge between the left and the right of this country. We need each other now to figure out a way to win the war in Iraq and bring our soldiers home. I also believe that extensive congressional hearings, court proceedings, etc. shows the world our weaknesses and in some cases, makes us look ridiculous.

I think now would be the most opportune time to work with the republicans on many issues. They are no more happy with this administration than we are. If the democrats start throwing there power around, just to prove we have it, we will have wasted the opportunity to work on some very important issues.

Yeah.. I can't wait to see which "journalist" will get the biggest award for the leaked scoop of the year coming out of all these vitally important investigative committees we're about to be "treated to"… on our tab, of course. The Dems will have to raise our taxes to pay for their crucifixion of the last living cells in the now beaten to death body of the GOP.

This is an Op ED piece and should be taken as such. Until anyone in Congress sees fit to REALLY go after this administration I am not sure it will happen. We have a lot of problems that need to be fixed and this is not one that is particularly high on the radar at the moment. If a 'special council' gets put into place then look out but not until then.

No it's an indication of what we've really got to look forward to for the next two years.
