Nazi: s-l-o-w-l-y reread my first post. "this is a crock" does not translate into suing crying babies...far reach, even for you. "I have a hearing loss" does not equate my disability is worse than being blind. Did you not read that my sister was legally blind until she had laser eye surgery? HELLO, READ THE ADA.
**NOTICE NEW PARAGRAPH: NEW TOPIC**
But, yeah, America is a bunch of sue happy cry babies. Life ain't fair and once society wakes up to that fact we can move one and our premiums will go down once frivilous lawsuit are squashed.

LADY I am leggally blind in BOTH eyes... have been since youth. I was the kid with the big glasses then contacts saved my social life. I could have that surgery too but it's not like your sister is permantly blind.

I just think it could have maybe have been handled somewhat different. It is one thing to call someone a fucker or anything else, but to actually take a shot and belittle her hearing (whatever the severity) I thought was over the top. Maybe you had a shitty day . . . I don't know. But I would like to think you would not have said that normally.
I understood your logic (I think), and understand what you were trying to say. It was just what I perceived as a shot at people who have trouble hearing. On degrees of what handicap I would want if I had to choose, being blind would be damn near the bottom, but I still wouldn't demean anyone else's affliction/handicap. To be fair, I don't think you would actually demean the handicap of people who suffer from loss of hearing or deafness, but it came off that way. I think if you looked you could see how it could have.

I sympathize with your situation and I apologise for my bad choice of words.Although I cannot relate to your situation, you are a strong person and you will get through this.
I too could handle a hearing loss much better, if I did not have all the side affect. I walk around like I am drunk all the time and am accused of it often, I have not drank in over 10 years. I get sick and it is like something out of the exorcist, I spend at least two weeks out of every month sleeping on the bathroom floor because I am too sick to go back to bed. And it feels like someone is stabbing in the ear with an ice pick. Check out meniere disease sometime.
I have many, many health issues, I guess it all just gets to be too much sometimes.
If you ever need to talk, PM me.

I think it's the MJF and the stem cell stuff that has me stired up today. I'm a little on edge with this subject.
