Sorry OB, this was my point too, notice the eye-roll icon. Sarcasm is hard to write sometimes.

And so what if she killed her kid, George, she has the right to be defended until proven guilty.

What evidence convinces you of this?

Thing is, the DNA wasn't DNA located merely in the house, but on a six year old's panties and leggings (the new DNA evidence which could not be tested previously - a technology thing).

Pretty sure the doctors could have determined this.

To George that applies. But he was also the one who sided with the corrupt prosecutor in the Duke case. I think the convincing evidence in that case, to him, was that the boys were probably Republicans.

The father is Republican, safe bet the mother was also, but who knows. Besides, it isn't relevant.

I'm not surpised. they violated social norms - once you do that everyone assumes you are a monster who will violate human principles and the law.
people are narrow that way.

How did they violate social norms, by being wealthy, by participating in pageants, not following you. There are many millionares, many pageants contestants and their daughter didn't end up dead. I don't see how they violated social norms.

by how they dressed their daughter.
while those pagents aren't small, they aren't really align with most of society.
thats why people were so apalled. and still are today.
obviously in this case, people saw one 'norm' broke and decided these people must go against everything we view as 'correct'.
it happens.

Agreed.
My neighbor just entered her daughter into a beauty pageant.
I couldn't believe they actually make false teeth for babies and hair wigs.
If the cash is going out more than scholarships are coming in, then I think it's a vanity issue.
Anyway, I feel duped by the media. I'm glad they were exonerated.
