Default What worked for Red China works for Bush/Cheney

Red China developed interrogation techniques to ensure the criminals China captured confessed to the crimes Red China wanted to convict them of. It now seems that the Bush administration was so impressed by the Red China interrogation techniques, they adopted them as their own.

See http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/02/us/02detain.html

The Bush administration used the report “Communist Attempts to Elicit False Confessions From Air Force Prisoners of War” and written by Albert D. Biderman, a sociologist then working for the Air Force, as their manual for getting false confessions from US captive.

Imitation is certainly the most sincere form of flattery.

Interesting... not surprising, but interesting.

I wonder what the rabid right will say about this?

1) the enemy would do it to us and worse, so it's ok, we had to have that info
2) some guy on the left did it first, so of course it's ok.
3) Is Red China east or west of China proper?
