I know what inalienable mean but its irrelevant. Am I the only person that knows what this thread is about?

You need to make the point with a concrete example: the inalienable right to liberty was voted away when slavery was sanctioned; the inalienable right to trial, etc. was voted away by the president and then his vote was ratified by Congress.

I hadn't realized it, but the California Supreme Court has only one judge appointed by a Democrat (Moreno appointed by Gray Davis) so the Republican appointed justices split 3-3 on the decision.

So, no matter what your view, you can say three Republicans were legislating from the bench.
