Horseshit!!! the reason we have so fucking many criminals who commit their crime in suits and ties is thinking like yours ..... if we put the bastards in prison just like any other criminal maybe they wouldn't try it twice ...... and maybe they would..... but I'd be satisfied to know they paid for their crimes like any other criminal.

Send them to prison where they learn to be worse criminals.

Let them out when their time is done so that they can use their new found skills to commit more crimes.

Put them back in prison.

Keeps the whole system operating after all.

Let's see if I understand the logic behind putting "blue collar" criminals in prison, but not "white collar" criminals:

"blue collar" guy goes into a bank with a note he passes to teller that says "give me the $20s in your cash drawer or my head will explode." She gives him the cash, he leaves, gets arrested for theft, and is sntenced to say 3 years for stealing $5000.

"white collar" CEO sets up a ponzi scheme with bank assets, drives up stock price so he gets a $5,000,000 bonus, a quarter later his scheme is discovered, run on bank forces bankruptcy and total loss of stockholder value, and the CEO is deemed to be a white collar criminal that gets what? Nothing? a pat on the back and a "good job Brownie"?

Nothing? Not something I would advocate. The have, after all, light security prisons.
I simply will not advocating such a sleeze as the CEO you example in with murders, rapists, and the other scum of humanity.

There are civil courts....

Now, if someone eludes the government for say a couple of hundread bucks, they do not put ya in prison for 10 years.

I just wish they went after child molesters with the same rage they threw at snipes. If there is any criminal I would support, it would someone who didn't pay their taxes. I hate taxes, I can understand the desire not to pay taxes..... What I don't understand is some sick fuck molesting children and getting off. Why did chester the molester get off? Because they were more focused on Snipes - that's my point. Martha Fuckin' Stewart went to prison longer than some rapists... Obviously the punishment doesn't fit the crime... What they should do is start worker camps at McDonalds and Taco Bell. Make their asses work for minimum wage, show them what true pain really feels like. Sheeeit, most would commit suicide in a week. Problem solved.

I actually found the movie to be hilarious. I don't think it was supposed to be, but I was quite entertained. I especially like when the young couple was screwing in the airplane bathroom and a snake bit their bits and pieces. WTF? Also, who really has sex on an airplane. I'm small and can barely fit in those damn bathrooms.

Martha knows her shit and likes cooking with butter. Real cooks use butter. I don't watch her because she is so damn bitchy she makes me uncomfortable. It always seems like her guests regret making an appearance on the show!

No, but the law is teh law and jail should be jail. I do belive most prisons have wings for violent criminals versus others that are less potentialy dangerous to guards as well as each other.
