You tell me. Name 3 things that you may do with no government interference at either the federal, state, or local level without going into the most mundane aspects of your life and then tell me whether you are free or not.

One free man proudly announced that he could decide whether to take a piss standing or sitting while never realizing that the government determined where he could take that piss.

Question

FREEDOM???

Ha Ha Ha - you aren't even free to die in this country.

Be terminally ill and see how fast the court can step in and MAKE YOU take treatments!

Freedom is a fictitious illusion

...... thanks to liberals who think the government should be responsible for what people do!

AH...tell me Pale, how has the government invaded your life?
Tell me, how did you vote while you're old enough to pull the lever?
Did you vote for affirmative action?
Because you understand people shades darker lack intellect...
Did you vote for security which includes public decency such as enforcing the law on those who piss in public arenas, subway cars and walls and in the view of children?
I pay taxes to fine degenerates like this.
What do you consider free will and how do you choose to practice your free will pale?
By advocating public arenas as urinals I presume.
I understand I am free to tell you to fuck off, I am free to get in my car and drive for as long as I care to.
I am free to make and invest my money and double it.
I am free to live a fruitful life and produce as many children as I see fit.
I am free to feed my ambitions, I am free to express my ideas and to walk through paths with my head held high, a woman who is independent.
I am free to build bridges, buildings, motors.
I am free to invent and advance technology.
I am free to earn a living, any living without fear of my gender or race.
I am free to dream, to live and to laugh at people like yourself.
You are free to argue for your limitations, and you're free to keep them pale.

Really?
You can post this chum and then argue for universal health care!
HOAHAHAHAHA!
GO TO CANADA, CUBA and WAIT 3 months for a doctors appointment.
LIVE this life you argue for so vehemently, I guarantee you'll be on the first plane to America, kiss the land and call your doctor and demand an appointment for the next day.

If you have a pain in your ass or a tooth ache, waiting 3 months for mediocre affordable and regulated physician assistance won't do and a proctologist (a specialist) WILL require regulated pink slips and another 3 month waiting period.
For a pain in the ass like yours.
hee.

The government is steadily invading the rights of Americans - Like the rights of a restaurant owner to cater to the customers that he wants to do business with (Cigarette Smokers) or his right to employ those that fit the kind of customer he want ....
... like someone who doesn't have metal sticking out of their eyebrow ...

Remember that old song by "Five Man Electric Band" that started to push the limits of a business owner?

And the sign said long haired freaky people need not apply
So I tucked my hair up under my hat and I went in to ask him why
He said you look like a fine upstanding young man, I think you'll do
So I took off my hat I said imagine that, huh, me working for you

WHOA! Got yer panties in an uproar! LMAO! 2 funny!

Libs forget to understand that FREEDOM means a person is FREE to

DESERVE WHAT THEY EARN

They are free to do what they want with their life like ....
  1. NOT work
  2. NOT go to school
  3. NOT live in a home
.... but when they make THOSE choices - they have NO RIGHT to expect others to fix their mess!

They are free to do what they want - If it causes an effect - Accept the results!

If you invest in a winner accept the reward!

If you invest in a criminal activity accept the sentence!

If you invest in being unemployed accept the poverty!

If you invest in a 6-year degree accept the higher wages!

If you invest in partying accept the loss of brain cells!

Charity is a CHOICE not a Government Enforced Law !

No, I have never been in favor of AA. The very idea that blacks can't make it on their own without assistance of some sort is offensive to me. AA has created an environment in which a liberal newscaster who may or may not have acheved as much as a BA in journalism can suggest that someone like Condi Rice, a double PH.d got her education as a result of AA.

See you still have a problem with reading comprehension. Go back, and re-read. The point was that the man though he was free because he could decide to piss sitting or standing.

In a car that is approved by the government, taxed by the government, regulated by the government, and on roads that the government tells you to drive on. Try taking that vehicle onto public land that your taxes pay for and see how far you can drive.

Sure, on investments approved by the government, and if you make money, it will be closely monitored and taxed by the government. If you make money outside those areas approved by the government, or do not report the money you make on your investiments, you will find yourself in a small room with unpleasant people answering uncomfortable questions.

So long as you do so within the range of choices offered to you by your government.

With so long as you have your governemnt permits. Build bridges and buildings. Right. You can't even add on a 10 x 10 room to your house without the proper building permits.

Finally, one you are free to do. Almost. You are free to live, and dream, but don't laugh at us in public, or on a college campus where you may find that you have violated a speech code and find yourself on the wrong side of the law.

So you can dream and live, and don't forget, if you haven't been living for at least 9 months or so, you aren't even free to do that.

You are free to choose among various options that the government gives you in almost everyting monkey. Make a choice outside of the ones they give you and someone shows up to bring you back in line. Care to try again? Care to name some things you can do with no government interference at either the federal, state or local level and show just how free you are?

Interesting answer pale, because you posted some government regulations I voted for.
I believe they are called laws that protect and secure citizens property rights.
Laws which encourage and demand integrity.
Would you want to take your family on a drive in a car and on a road that is not regulated?
Would you invest in a decrepit building or home that is built on swamp land or
invest in a commodity that is fraudilent and to find the looters go unpunished for their cheating and thieving?
I should think not.
The difference between socialism and capitalism are regulations that inhibit wealth and the freedom to earn, keep and invest wealth.
Socialism thwarts ability and achievements, capitalism rewards them.
If you feel your freedom is infringed upon, thwarted, I suggest you visit some communist/socialist countries and evaluate your freedoms.
