Corruption is rampant in our prisons. Our prisons are creating hate, and have divided the people. I can go on.........bottom line, no one should be locked up for a victeml;ess crime. No, i dont use drugs[anymore] Yes, half my family is in law enforement. I speak from experience. People will respond as they are ttreated, it has been that way since time began. Many of you who only listen to the media, are missing the piont. You could be next, you could be cast into a cell, shackeled, mentally and physically abused. No one is safe. There is a need in any society for prisons, but, we have overdone it, and the sad thing is, most anyone with a brain knows it. I hear both sides, i have seen both sides, worked on both sides, and lived to tell the tale. We are headed for a country of little or no rights, we are almost there. Lock up the humans that are out of control, dont use the prisons to instill fear and break the spirit of humans. Sad Sad situation. By the way, the CDC officers are afraid, the cops are afraid, the peo[ple are afraid, dam mess. And just plain wrong how people are treated .

What a crock of shit. Your second sentence shows you don't know what you're talking about. Yes our prisons have some problems. Now go visit the prisions of Mexico, China, Japan, Russia, any in So. America, Africa, Asia, the middle East, and many in Europe. You will see even worse conditions, and treatment. There you will learn the true meaning of FEAR.

This topic warrants more discussion certainly.

Correct. If it was cheap and legal, the level of ALL crimes would be reduced.
Not eliminated, but reduced.
If a junkie could get a fix as easy as an alcoholic much of the associated property crime would go away.
We need to keep people scared to keep the population under control.....thus ratchet up the fears regarding druggies.

NICE TRY. KEEP TRYING, BUT YOU WON'T FIND ONE PERSON IN PRISON FOR SMOKING POT.

but you won't see people in prison for not paying child support or other bs we lock people up for, part of the problem is also the length of our sentences, they are way to long. You gotta make the punishment fit the crime
