My BIL has his bachelor's degree and is a police officer in Baltimore. He worked as a prison guard for about 10 years before be became a police officer. He wanted to make a difference before the criminal was in prison. He also became a police officer for a personal reason, a loved one was murdered. He isn't uneducated, welfare case, harasser, or any negative connotations you may have. He is a police officer because he truly wants to make a positive difference in people's lives.

Nooo, never said anything about police. I said it's silly to drive without a seatbelt. Any data you refer to will tell you that. It's a free country (amen), you can drive anyway you want to, but the cops will get you for breaking the seatbelt law.

I did assume that he meant he would use drugs while driving. Don't most people? Again, I'm not implying anything about the cops to protect me from DUI's. They cannot do that. They cannot stop a DUI crossing into oncoming traffic, for example. If the druggies want to do their thing...that's their problem, but If they do it and drive, that's mine..and yours.
