What this woman did was VERY wrong, but it does highlight a double standard. In the meantime, lets not fret about the mosques right here in the U.S. preaching hate towards Christians. That is a big story, unlike this one idiot lady and her threatening note. But, what does the media choose to highlight? Anything that makes Christians look like the bad guys.

If she were realy a violent person and wanted to do harm there would have been a note. This with the fact that we don't know if she has a record which it does not state she does and we know if she did the news would have been all over that. So she got pissed and acted out, wrong and unacceptable criminal not so much as it is being made out to be. Just like the hanging of nooses by kids here in Louisiana that is a hate crime, but the black boys beating the white kid is not well at least it is not made such a big deal about. Well what about burning the American flag at protest One could see that as a threat because of the way and reason it is done in other parts of the world so that could be seen as a hate crime. Don't give me no crap that it could not because all of this is getting out of control boys and girls we are bluring the lines more and more every day and we are pandoring to one side and hate and fear is eating us alive. They did more damage to this country when they attacked the towers they started us in a downward spiral spured on by this politicaly correct and over sensative bullshit.

It was wrong for her to do this, not because it's a religious issue but a legal one. Doesn't matter who did what over what issue, threatening another's life isn't funny and it's designed to terrorize.

It's one thing to be called bad names; another to be hit by a baseball bat. That women crossed the line, and the sentence is justified.

so why call it a hate crime? Shell get more of a sentence because of the label of "hate crime" then for the underlying legal issue associated with it.

Hate Crimes are hypocritical of the legal system. In no other instance to you prosecute motivation than the crime itself.


What is a misdemeanor is now a serious case. Go figure, collectivist ideals at work here.

Just like there's laws on the books prosecutors hope don't get abused, but on the books to keep criminals behind bars for a long time. For example, in GA, they did away with the sodomy laws with consenting adults, but they do have sodomy laws for rape.

These laws have their purpose, because when Whites become a minority, you will need it. Yes, it will be used as a tool that can be abused, but think of a hypothetical case like this: a White dude gets nearly killed or killed by some Jews in the Bronx. They're as White as the victim, so can't claim it's a racist crime, even though the crime was made due to religious intolerance. The victim's family will be incensed that there was no crime for killing due to religious conviction, and just throwing them in jail for a crime of "passion" would be too cheap.

This is why the Law has these extra tools of punishment.
