IMO a 15 minute edit window is too short, and severely cramps my style when it comes to fixing grammatical errors, unfortunate sentence structures and the like. Has there been some problem that necessitates it being that short?

I suppose that is a valid point since some poeple really want public support rather than the chance to stand on what the believe.

I've changed it to 30 minutes to see how it works out. I want to have a limit for the reason posted by ladyofmts: people will change their posts in response to what other people say, or pretend they never said something, and it can make the thread look incoherent.
