I hate it when I reread a quickly written post and find typos!

As far as trying to "catch" someone by quoting in case they change their sentence. What??? Is there anyone who has not typed a sentence and realized it did not convey what they wanted to say or the meaning was lost . I have changed sentences...not to trick someone but maybe when I read it I did not like how I expressed myself.

I like the the 30 minute because often I post while cooking or multi tasking and I get interrupted a LOT. Even if I quoted someone and they changed a sentence I would not view them negatively...maybe they did not like how it came across. I guess I am not looking to "catch" or mistrust others so much. Either way 15 or 30 is fine with me.
Sam, I try to type correctly, but my spell check, wife, isn't always there. If I notice that it doesn't say what I meant, I will try and correct it in the next post.

Rob I was speaking of my own typos. Other posters typos/spelling do not bother me. I am tough on myself !

Really do you think anyone here tries to find others opinions before stating their own? I cannot think of one core member who would do that. Everyone seems pretty much their own person and confident.

Sam, I normaly start a thread after reading an aritcle that I found intresting. That way everyone gets to express their feelings on it if they like.

Sam; to clarify, I was talking about another site, not this one about posters changing their opinions. I had been quoted too fast by Smitty sometimes because I added to it.

Thanks for the extra 15 minutes. When liquer filters my thoughts I often jumble up words and may not notice immediately.

LOL Smitty was so fired up he talked fast and quoted fast. I wonder where he is. He was so prolific. I really wondered if he was ok and PM him to tell him to get some sleep and have some down time. He thanked me for the support and said even though he and I disagreed he felt welcomed by me. He then said he was going to have some fun. He will probably be back.

LOL Sour Claw. I type sometimes when waiting in my car..later I see the typos yikes.

He he once I put the wrong graph (one that didn't help my point) on your Phillip Cooney thread and when I went to change it it was too late. Oops!

I think 15 minutes is enough time to see what you have posted and go in and make changes to your thoughts. 30 minutes allows some to revised everthing they said.
Agreed, totally. Although it gives a good mind break, 15 (or even 20) is enough. Not too worried about it though.

Of course it is never an issue if one can laugh at themselves! Sometimes one cannot learn from past mistakes unless it is right in front and in "stone?"

(I still don't know where to put the dog-on question mark or any punctuation when the sentence ends in:") I learned inside the ", but sometimes it just doesn't feel right.
