Thank you!

I hope that works out. I can live with 30 minutes much better.

I have used the edit function several times, mostly when I have typed something so fast and then posted I didn't realize I had left out half of what I wanted to say!!! I have also used it to correct spelling althought sometimes my corrections are as bad as my originals.

I think 15 minutes is enough time to see what you have posted and go in and make changes to your thoughts. 30 minutes allows some to revised everthing they said.

Nathan; the trick to is to quote someone before they can change it. It's easier to figure out who will change their posts.

I agree. However, I still think the 15 minutes are too short. 30 minutes I like because sometimes after typing a post, I do something else (like beat off for example ) and then read over my post and realize I made a ton of mistakes but can't edit. The 30 minutes is good. Thanks Admin

Sometimes I use a notebook and the wireless service in front of my sons middle school whe waiting for a sports bus to come in. The keyboard is small and the car light is dim...later I see the typos

I think that the 15 minute time was sufficent for me. While I am setting at my table, and my wife is talking to me, I get distracted but able to correct the post at that time.

I laughed reading this. I cannot think of one core poster here who is so worried about other posters opinions they would change their own. This group seems to me to be a strong minded and confident group!

I hate it when I reread a quickly written post and find typos!

As far as trying to "catch" someone by quoting in case they change their sentence. What??? Is there anyone who has not typed a sentence and realized it did not convey what they wanted to say or the meaning was lost . I have changed sentences...not to trick someone but maybe when I read it I did not like how I expressed myself.

I like the the 30 minute because often I post while cooking or multi tasking and I get interrupted a LOT. Even if I quoted someone and they changed a sentence I would not view them negatively...maybe they did not like how it came across. I guess I am not looking to "catch" or mistrust others so much. Either way 15 or 30 is fine with me.
