What is this a pop fucking quiz?????

You are partially right on the red shift. It tells us nothing about how far an object is, and is only by measuring the change in the wavelength can we tell it is moving away or toward us.

It was the red shift that prompted Lamaitre to study how this related to the nature of the universe.

Dom claims to have read two books and one had the answer those questions I just asked so if read them he should know the answer.

Notice how he jump the forum when put to a test... He never answers anything because he doesn't want to be PROVEN WRONG so he just constantly misdirects.

Nathan, if you want to come to terms with each other I will agree to go on with you in a civil manner, but I do not suffer fools and dom is a fool.

You are correct, he doesn't have a clue.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Wow, a pop quiz really shows you are an expert, but when I gave you a list of what are basic questions for people who know about this stuff you still haven't responded.

Well Nazi, the fool is the person who claims to be some sort of expert on this stuff when he is just paraphrasing what others say. When asked straight forward questions you didn't even make an attempt? Why? Because a person who relies on the internet for information can't really respond because you can't anticipate what questions you will be asked. That is why whenever you are asked to take a real stance on something you decline . . . because you can't anticipate where the conversation will go and therefore you can't rely on the internet for your answers. That is why when you sked ot be tested and you were tested you quickly changed the topic.

The only big bang I know about is the noise the bed makes when I plop my fat ass down on it, and the slats broke.

The worse part is, my best pumps were under there, and now when I dress up in drag and become Monkeyinthemiddle, I have to wear flats

big bangs don't come from singularities. Quantum mechanics will not allow a singularity. Singularities are mathematical attributes of dividing by zero. Obviously, any equation which describes physical reality to some extent is not applicable well before conditions of a singularity are obtained. Something is incomplete. If mankind ever develops a theory of everything there will be no singularities.

Now I don't know your extent of knowledge since your post was mostly a ramble showing you must read a little, but to demonstrate how you might have a singularity and using a different technique to get rid of it consider the simple case of coordinate transformation using Euler angles. If you do this you will always have a singularity at the pole; however, if one were to use direction cosines and their derivatives there will never be a question of a singularity.

The long and short of it is that the Newtonian gravitation law has a singularity at radius zero. No one really knows what the exact physics is as the radius approaches zero but one thing is clear, quantum effects rule. So there is no singularity. This problem is at the apex of combining quantum and relativity theory and a theory of everything. Increasingly it seems that the universe may not be a 4-dimensional universe; rather, it looks more likely to be either 10 or 26. This is a direct result of work done by Srinivasa Ramanujan, who was probably the smartest person the planet has ever produced, but unfortunately not known to the general public. A sickly indian form India he died in his early twenties after developing a great protion of western mathematics of which he had no knowledge without formal education except a single book on number theory.

Ramanujan has been described by some as the strangest man in all of mathematics, probably in the entire history of science. One of his theorms seems to prove that the universe is either 10 or 26 dimensions (24 +2 dimensions when you count the total number of vibrations appearing in a relativistic theory), and it can't be anything in between-not 4, 5, etc but either 10 or 26.

In any event, most physicist are currently looking at 10 dimensions. I happen to believe it is 26 but that most of what we observe will ultimately be explained by 10 a subset of the 26. In the final analysis the 10 dimensional theory is as mysterious as Ramanujan himself and nobody can answer why nature must exist in ten dimension or 26 dimensions but if you understand how the spectral lines are obtained by solving the wave equation for hydrogen, you probably have a good idea on just what is going on here.

As an aside, Ramanujan was discovered by a well known Cambridge mathematician Godfrey H. Hardy. On a scale of 100, he rated himself a 25, he rated David Hilbert universally recognized as one of the greatest Western mathematicians of the nineteenth century, 80- he rated the Hindu, Ramanujan 100.

Care to comment IHNR??????

Interesting post Nathan....

That is the question most want answered, "why?"

Which is often where God is brought in, I think.....

SO......I FIGURED this test could be used for determining OTHER THINGS as well (scientist)......go ahead and take it........if you score high on SECULAR HUMANISM.......you might want to think about being D programmed....if you are from a foriegn religion....GO HOME

http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/E.../humanism.html

There are several variations of "Secular" Humanism, both within and without the Assemblies of Yeshua (Jesus). Within these variations, there is no True Spiritual Authority represented by the Gift of Male Pastor-Teacher. True Spiritual Authority is usurped and some form of Humanistic authority (or "unisex") is substituted. In all of these systems unregenerate man uses a system of "human reason" and human will is exalted as supreme.

The altered variation of Humanism called CHRISTIAN HUMANISM has also found its way into the Assemblies.

Today, taken as "Secular" Humanist philosophy, the phrases "everything is relative" [1] and "there are no absolutes" are two that are usually foremost. The statement "there are no absolutes" immediately denies the Creator AS Absolute. Man is therefore left with an impersonal "relativistic" universe that is neutral and silent concerning Right and wrong OR Good and evil. A relativistic universe is silent on these issues. At this point, man places himself in charge.

I told you to post the questions again... I'm not spending my day running around looking for up your 500 post you vomit out a day.

Print them here and and now or print new ones, I don't care, but I KNOW you didn't read those books dom so stop acting like you have or are you trying to read them now to catch up. Well, ask me your little question or shut up but I'm not going out looking for your garbage.
