Hell, anyone can just give the links for something like that, or do what Nazi is doing, and that is paraphrasing what others are saying without really understanding. I know as much about Red Shift, Doppler Effecs, and the things associated with this as Nazi does . . . and that isn't very much at all. I would be embarrassed to pretend that I knew something like this and couldn't explain the basics in my own words. Nazi is a fraud, and he has proven that time and time again.

I want dom to answer that question since professes to understand this material, this is one of the easiest concepts for him to explain so I will wait for an answer for him.

He could answer the same way I could . . . by paraphrasing what others say. But the trick is to get Nazi to do this and then ask him specific questions about what he says and then watch him squirm away and not answer. That shows that what he says are not his words, but someone else's. That is something that Nazi can't seem to figure out.

I don't think he has a clue about any of this, he just likes to be an orney cuss. Notice that he bailed as soon as I said I had asked him the question. Very few people sincerely understand this concept and I doubt that some number includes this bozo.

Those objects in the night sky or seen through a telescope emit light. This light is then broken down into it's basic colors on the red end of the spectrum and violet at the beginning. The difference between the two is their wavelength. This "shift" from the longer to the shorter wavelength allow an observer to understand how far and object from earth as well as how quickly it moving "away" from observer, thus PROVING that the universe is in motion expanding away from the observer.
