Billions of dollars have been given to the Extremely Wealthy Corporations and Tax loopholes are basically taking it's toll on Poor and Middleclass Americans.
I am not sure why Conservatives think this is a fair system we have.
I am new to this Chat Room. I hope to have a good time. THANKS! WB

People who do not understand how money is made would believe that the major corporations are the bad guys and that government bows the knee to them. This is simply not true! Have you notice how many corporations are leavening the USA? People who do not understand how money is made think that it is only in small quantities and that we must all share the wealth. That is socialistic thinking plain and simple. It didn't work for Russia.
Concerning the Corporations : People don't have an understanding of where money is made from and how economics work. Cities like Detroit MI, and Pittsburgh, PA would not feel the economic strain that they now feel if it were not for the government meddling. (Google layoffs for these two cities. The numbers are astounding) Once known as "Detroit Motor City" GM has laid off a thousands of people. Here is an example of why Detroit is in the shape it's in. The Government has decided that Detroit is a mess and need to be cleaned up. Their solution is to tax the major Corporations for this clean up effort. This in turn causes the Corporations to leave; most going over seas where it is cheaper to manufacture. This action just causes more problems. Do you see the viscous cycle beginning to un-fold? Because it is to expensive to run operations there, Detroit is in an economic decline and so many people move looking for jobs and less expensive cost of living. That causes employment problems for other cities and states from the big influx of people moving out of that city to a new ones. We need big businesses back in America. The truth of the matter is we are no loner in the Industrial age. We have moved to the Information age. More and more people are on line than ever before. There are more home based businesses started and offered every day. But people are leary of such industries because they are foreign. It's still to easy to get up every day and go to a job we hate than to have the discipline to pursue Entrepreneurial enterprises. I suggest reading Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. Here is an excerpt from the man him self: ""To become rich you need to first change the way you think about money because your thoughts lead to your actions that lead to results. If you were raised poor or middle-class, chances are that you were not taught the fundamentals you need to become financially free for life. By having a personal coach, you can take these principles and quickly apply them in your life. You’ll have the feedback and encouragement you need to get out of the Rat Race—just like my rich dad did for me."" https://www.richdadcoaching.com (a) Information Age (also known as the Digital Age and Wireless Age) is a term that has been used to refer to the present era. The name alludes to the global economy's shift in focus away from the production of physical goods (as exemplified by the industrial age) and toward the manipulation of information. |

Tax loopholes? for the rich...hmmmm...what about those who are welfare dependent..talk about a loophole..they know how to work the system...a person that works hard and makes good money doesn't have a choice but to give most of it to Uncle Sam and an incompetent government to spend it on social programs for those lazy ass ignorant individuals!

Here are other tired slogans from the left:
Fantasy: The rich do not pay enough tax, or use tax loopholes to avoid their fair share. Fact: In 2002 the latest year of available data, the top 5 percent of taxpayers paid more than one-half (53.8 percent) of all individual income taxes, but reported roughly one-third (30.6 percent) of income. The top 1 percent of taxpayers paid 33.7 percent of all individual income taxes in 2002. This group of taxpayers has paid more than 30 percent of individual income taxes since 1995. (http://usgovinfo.about.com/od/income...hopaysmost.htm) Fantasy: Corporations do not pay their fair share of taxes. Fact: (sic) The US taxes corporations at the second highest rate internationally (Japan is higher) may have something to do with our trade deficits and the loss of good paying jobs in this country. If you do not understand what you are talking about, you can easily be manipulated. This is true of the young lefties and other minorities daily manipulated by the Demogogic Party. |

i couldn't have said it any better than honeybee and freespeech. if you do not understand economics and how the tax system negatively affects us all, then please don't embarrass yourself. The rich are the providers of our jobs, without who you would be unemployed. it is institutions such as welfare and social security that you should open your mouth about. If you want to look to the root of poverty in this country, look not to the rich but instead to those reliant on government spending who continue to put into office those who will continue to tax that upper 10% and in turn everyone else down below. I have written extensively on this on my blog, rzilinyi.blogspot.com if you would like to see who the real culprit is. Before you speak out against and atrocity, please first know what it is that you are talking about
